Maria E. Paschalidou has studied Physics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Physics, working in the field of Nuclear Physics (Bachelor’s thesis on Plasma parameter measurements of the ASDEX Upgrade Tokamak, IPP-Max Plank) and then her Master’s degree in Electrochemistry from the Chemistry Department in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Master’s thesis on Double layer capacitance and Electrochemical Impedance of polycrystalline Au and Ag electrodes). Her scientific interests are on the De-alloying procedure of Au-based metallic glasses obtaining nanoporous structures for electrocatalysis experiments (MeOH) and further applications.
